- dedica_device - Signed identifier (HMAC-SHA256) for fraud prevention and rate limiting (anti-abuse). Duration: 12 months. Issuer: DedicaMusic (first-party). Flags: HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax.
- __Host-authjs.session-token - Authentication session used only for admin access. Duration: 30 days. Issuer: DedicaMusic (first-party). Flags: HttpOnly, Secure.
- NEXT_LOCALE - Remembers your language choice (French or English). Duration: 1 year. Issuer: DedicaMusic (first-party).
- dedica_consent - Remembers your consent preferences (product analytics and targeted advertising) across the three categories of the consent manager. Duration: 6 months. Issuer: DedicaMusic (first-party).
- dedicamusic_draft (localStorage) - Temporary save of your form draft to restore your progress. Duration: 24 hours. Issuer: DedicaMusic (first-party).
Cookieless audience measurement (no consent required)
We use Vercel Analytics, an audience measurement solution that does not deposit any cookies and does not use persistent identifiers. The collected data is aggregated and anonymized on Vercel's servers and does not allow tracking of individual visitors. This processing benefits from the consent exemption provided by the CNIL guidelines on audience measurement.

Product analytics & session recording (consent required)
With your explicit consent via the cookie banner, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU, in Frankfurt) to understand how visitors use the song-creation form and to record a sampled, masked subset of sessions, so we can remove friction and improve the experience. Form fields — names, email, your story — are masked in recordings: we capture behaviour, never its content. PostHog loads only after you accept, and nothing is sent if you decline. We do not sell this data.
- ph_…_posthog (cookie + localStorage) - First-party PostHog identifier that recognises your browser across pages to stitch your journey and a sampled, masked session recording. Duration: 12 months. Issuer: DedicaMusic (first-party, via our own /ingest proxy). Hosting: PostHog EU (Frankfurt).
Targeted advertising (consent required)
With your explicit consent via the cookie banner, we use Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API (CAPI) to measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. No data is transmitted to Meta without your consent — neither from the browser (Pixel) nor from the server (CAPI). The data transmitted includes your hashed email (SHA-256), country, IP address and user agent, solely at the moment of a conversion (purchase). Transfer to the United States is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of July 10, 2023).
- _fbp - Meta identifier used to associate your browser with Meta Ads campaigns. Duration: 90 days. Issuer: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
- _fbc - Meta click identifier (stores the fbclid of a Meta ad click). Duration: 90 days. Issuer: DedicaMusic (first-party), captured only if you arrive from a Meta ad AND have accepted targeted advertising.
Your rights and choices
You have the right to choose whether or not to accept product analytics and targeted advertising. Cookies necessary for the website to function (security, session, anti-fraud) are always active. Your choices can be changed at any time via the Manage preferences button in the footer.
